We JUST finished a full kitchen remodel this afternoon (after a month of work!) and the results are spectacular. However, we’re a bit stumped on some of our appliances. Is there anything that we have to do before we use our oven/range or dishwasher? We checked in the owner’s manual but it didn’t say anything. Both are standard Whirlpools.

Hi………..You should be o.k……..just check for anything or paper inside of them….or under the burners……..sometimes on dishwashers if your hooking up to a new disposal you will run into a knock out washer about 1/2″ in dia. in the disposal…besure you do that and also get the D.w. drain elevated so dirty water doesn’t run backwards into the dishwasher…………….hope in helps………..anchor all app. first so the stove and the rest don’t tip over on children with something cooking above them……….I didn’t think that would happen and so I had a little 5 year old stand on the oven door once just to see………….trust me it will……..screw them in…..it’s worth the extra hour…………..have fun guys……glad to hear the kit. looks great………that’s what makes it all worth while…………..nite.
