Two patrol cars, a building and a double-decker bus were torched as rioters clashed with officers on Saturday in front of the Tottenham Police Station, where people had gathered to demand “justice” for the death of a man identified locally as Mark Duggan, a 29-year-old father of four, killed in an apparent gunfight. More than 300 were involved in what began as a march to demand justice for the killing. Shops were also looted.

First I think that only a handfall of people in the riots know anything about the shooting and what is a man in a car doing with a gun? There is a condecending element to all this. To have a aligal gun there is a purpose for harm whether its the person who has it or the person who is going to receive the gun for the act. A gun means death and the fact that armed police stormed in is no suprise and expected by the gunman. There can be lots of blame here for both police and the man involved???
