@coolmint191 I believe the reigns are being let loose because this generation of government has other agendas. I doesn’t change the fact that if I go I light up in my car, and I get pulled over, I can end up with a hefty ticket or even jail time. Maybe not the case every where, but in Wisconsin, it CAN be hell.

Like prostitution in Canada: There is no law, federal or provincial, that says that an individual can’t profit from a sexual service. It is, however, illegal to solicit prostitution or to run “a common bawdy house”.
Unlike the racist implications of the Harrison Act, I think that the above laws may have been implimented to cover women like my mum’s ass when they would withhold “Rocking the Casbah” until they got a new Maytag, or at least a visit from the Maytag repair man.

@deadpooh You should learn up a bit. Marijuana is not deemed completely ILLEGAL by the federal govt. The Department of Treasury hasn’t issued a tax stamp so it can be traded/sold legally. Why do you think thousands of Californians light up without worry? Its a battle of state law vs. federal govt. And with an anti-capitalist, actually a socialist president in office, what do you think will happen to state’s rights in the future?

Weed is in fact a drug. But so is caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, actually food is technically a drug as well (or at least contains drugs) I learned that in dare and later verified it on the interwebz. The illegalization of marijuana is definitely a shady affair. There is no reason why alcohol should be legal while marijuana should not. Anybody who feels differently has a right to feel that way but should definitely learn up. Billions of people around the world cannot be wrong.

@maximino27 Same here. I quit 6 yrs ago after living about 10 yrs smoking about a 1/2 every week. I quit because my son was born and I was hanging out with shady MFs to get it and it would tweak me out anxiety style to be around them high. No withdraw symptoms though. Not like cigarettes or caffeine anyways. I play guitar, draw, and have an immense appreciation for nature like a good hippie though and those things are way more fun when you have “partaken.”

@BloodyPooProductions One more thing….about me being a pothead? It’s true I used to smoke heavily before I had to quit because of my job. But I quit on the drop of a hat with no withdrawal symptoms, and I haven’t smoked anything in over 7 years.

@BloodyPooProductions You can blame the Government for putting the money gained from it into those people (Druglords) who kill each other over it. If it was legalized like it is in most other countries, you would see it being used for the benefit of regular people who could grow and smoke it with no worry about repercussions. As for teenagers smoking it, I blame the parents for not controlling their kids. As far as brain damage? You’ve watched too many 60s propaganda films that distort the facts.

@maximino27 only a pothead would say that. If it wasn’t a drug then how come people kill each other over it, it turns teenagers into idiots, and it causes brain damage over time equivalent to that seen in Schizos
