@AllWordsPassMargin Anything that is not profit-driven for individuals or groups of individuals(corporations) and is socially-driven (by society itself) is essentially communist.
Thats why these paranoid people in some states are being stupid about communism. They dont realize that the government has already had communistic practices for decades.
Free Market Capitalism IS A FAILURE!!!
Limited Market Capitalism, in combination with Communistic principals, IS THE ANSWER!!!

@allwordspassmargin but the concept that it would “come out of taxpayers dollars” Is a blatant LIE.
Subsides do not automatically mean that it comes out of taxpayers dollars…. thats very slippery slope logic.
Most subsidizes are loans that are given by the government AND erased by the government.
Its a way of ensuring that people actually do the tasks that they are given in college rather than messing around and treating the whole thing like a giant party.

@AllWordsPassMargin the movie itself says:
“If the government takes over college loans, then they will have to be subsidized when the students cant pay them back”
Thats true, but that doesnt mean that its coming “out of the taxpayers dollars”
Ergo, college would be free, not profit driven.
Ergo, It would be communistic.

@TheMasterSlasher Eventually over time you will learn the business or decide if it’s what you want to do. Don’t be afraid of switching people you help if things aren’t working out. These people are your mentors and they all have different business skills. Don’t go to everyone, but learn what you can from each one you work for. Show loyalty and respect for them and their time. We never find people like I’m describing and that’s a lot of what we want from workers/apprentices as we teach.

@TheMasterSlasher Yes, meet someone in the business you want to be involved in and ask if you can be a helper while you learn the business. If you’re offered pay, great! If not and you do need money, offer to be a helper once a week and watch/practice/learn the business. It’s less expesive than college and it gives you hands on experience. If you encourage whom you work for and stay upbeat you you may could be given the person’s book of business and/or better education. Read books on the side.

From an editorial standpoint, this video has serious issues. However, it’s good to get thinking against widely accepted ideals.
I graduated state college in 2005 and my degree has been extremely valuable… NOT because I got a good job, but because going to school taught me to think critically and originally (I now own a small boutique marketing business). I will say, however, that going to private school and having 4-6 times as much debt would have been a very different story.

what we need is free education. It’s kind of extreme especially for a capitalistic country but if we made college free then this wouldn’t be a problem because at least people would feel secure about going to college and know that if they fail, the only thing they’re gonna lose is time not money. However if you fail college, not only did you waste time, you also wasted money since college doesn’t do refunds. Losing time is one thing but losing money is another that goes especially for the U.S.

How can you guys say this is TOTAL bs? Are you blind and did you even watch the whole thing? It’s completely true. Open your mind.

Yes, it is TRUE that college doesnt necessarily land you a job… but its NOT TRUE that college subsidizes take money out of the taxpayers dollars.
Thats just a blatant LIE.

I agree with a lot of this BUT — there is a serious error in the numbers as shown about halfway through about lost wages. The average high school grad can NOT and does NOT get an entry level job paying $35,400 a year. Where the hell did that number come from? It’s off by tens of thousands. The reality is $7.35 an hour, or about $14k a year. And the way that HR/hiring departments work, you just will NOT get your foot in the door without “paper”.

This movie is total BS.
They tell partial truth and try to use it as propaganda to convince people that allowing banks to take over the college loaning system is a good idea.
ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO LET PRIVATE BANKS TAKE OVER THE COLLEGE LOANING SYSTEM!!!!

@MadeByEduNotLaziness, I am interested in what other ways I could get educated. I know I could read books and research online, but do you have any other suggestions?

Wow, nearly 1 million views in less than 2 months! If you just go by likes and dislikes, it shows that over 85% of people watching this believe college is a scam! Bill Gross of PIMCO, the once largest bond holding company, whose net worth was stated at $2.1 billion, according to Forbes said college is worthless as well within the last few days. There are other ways to get educated. Sadly college is mostly outdated and too expensive.

Yeah and by the way, people go to college for the experience, which is why there’s so much partying and stuff. Alcohol should be banned from use at college. That would make people at least get a better education, even though it might cost the same. People are also ashamed of going to community colleges because that’s not where the party is and end up spending a lot just to sustain the lifestyle that all of the cool kids have. This=more debt. Life under capitalism ISN’T fun.

@robotsnsneakers Yeah, people meet in college and form groups, but that’s what communities are supposed to be for. Oh right, there’s no real sense of community in a large swath of America because practically every single damn place has been placed with restaurants and the overdevelopment of houses in order to milk people out of money. Fuck capitalism.

@ceaandytohuirs If you are lazy enough to at least sit down & analyze all the political & economic ills occurring today (compared with the good times of the past) as well as observe with keen interest subliminal clues found in famous cartoon series, movie story lines, news media, current civil events, outright mentioning of NWO by powerful word leaders, wars & its rumors, pestilences, incremental natural & artificial disasters etc, etc. Then you are super blind with high degrees of denials.

I disagree with the video in the fact that it states that all education is worthless. If that were the case, we would still be in the stone age. But general education IS worthless at a college anyway, because you can learn all of it and more by reading the internet all day, since the point of it is merely to make you a better-informed citizen. At college, it’s true, you do get sidetracked by a shallow world view and the lust of having the lucrative sports careers. Internet is the great leveler.

i wish this was a conspiracy but year after year it gets more costly. i have friends rom the middle class whos parents keep dishing out money for their education and liefetyles. they cant find jobs. most of them wont even bother to look for a job that pays 10 hr. they all want that 20-40 $/hr. i didnt go to college wasnt for me. im debt free and own my own business. cant say the same for my friends. its all good educated people know best anyways, right?….. plus theres always unemployment.
