Good stuff in a nutshell. We should know this stuff. We’ve heard a lot of this (without the good explanations) before. But we need it still. The Pickup Artist community is doing very well serving a need for a certain audience but this book serves all of us, whether we need help finding someone, finding out what we want in someone, or just serving as a reminder of what being a man is. When the tricks, lines and approaches are done, who and what do you want to be? This book lays it out in a way that we guys can get and from a woman’s perspective so we know we’re not hearing just another theory on getting girls. This book will not just help you in finding, getting and keeping the bitch you want. It’s about being a grown-up. Being a man.

I enjoyed this book. A good read and solid advice. Realistic and also entertaining, AlphaDog is the perfect gift for the dude who just needs a little help keeping things in perspective. The book is also obviously well researched and has intelligent insight into the dynamics between men and women in the dating world as it is today. Science-based with a human touch.
In short, I can recommend it.

Finally a “how to” dating book that gets it right. Not only does this book give great dating advice, it is also a fun read. Take it with you to the poolside, the beach or the airport for some humorous stories on what works and what does not work in the complicated world of dating.
The book is aimed towards men, but I am a woman and I found it useful to decode and debunk the games guys play. Women, arm yourselves with this book before you go out with him!

With a title like, “Alpha Dog, Get the Bitch You Want” by Wing Girl Kim, you might expect something straight outta da Pickup Artist Playa’s Society field manual. An that’s unfortunate because this book is nothing like that. Which means a lot of people are either going to miss out on its wisdom due to the title, or end up buying it thinking it’s about pickup and seduction and being dissapointed.
In a nutshell, Wing Girl Kim uses the analogy of a wild dog pack to illustrate certain principles of pickup and attraction along with the typical, more traditional dating advice you would expect from a woman giving advice to a guy, such as treating women with sincerity, respect and chivalry, impressing her, not choosing a women based on her looks, avoiding same night lays, one-night stands, etc. Definitely not Mystery, Neil Strauss, or Paul Janka…but she does provide some helpful and unique dating advice and even quotes from Christian authors and the Bible a couple times.
Where the book falls short is the amount of space she devotes to personality types and Jungian psychology which adds nothing to the book except excess bulk. Instead of five plus chapters, a simple one chapter summary or overview could have gotten the point across just fine. It’s almost as if she felt compelled to dazzle us with her scholarly research…in fact, she admits as much saying, “Maybe I’m getting too psychobabbly here, but that’s what happens when you read all sorts of scholarly literature.”
All in all, this is a good entry level guide for the nice-guy wanting to get his feet wet with women, or the older guy who’s found himself single after a long term relationship. This probably won’t appeal to pickup artists and players so if that’s your style, you might as well go straight to Mystery’s “The Pickup Artist” or Tariq Nasheed’s “The Art of Mackin”.

Men are often referred to as Dogs and as Dogs some need a bit of training in getting “the” (not “that” Btch) girl they want. With a leash – an impressive mouthful of words – Wing Girl guides the guys around the bases and even pushes the shy ones on to the mount (baseball, folks). As a guy myself, I would say if you’re having a hard time even meeting a potential date, this book is for you. It’s an informative/entertaining perspective of what women want from a guy and how a guy should act, dress, feel, “be,” ect. around a date… with a bit of Jung thrown in just in case the men don’t know how their personality can help or cripple a relationship. Wing Girl wants to make an Alphadog out of you, and this book is the “How To” training manual to become one. She’ll make a desirable Man out of you.
