I am 19 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out who will deliver my baby. I reside in Shiloh, IL so Memorial Hospital would be closer. I work in Hazelwood, so Barnes would be closer and plus Children’s Hospital is next door just in case something went wrong. I am so undecided-please give me some suggestions or even tell me how to do research on the internet to see which hospital is the best.
What hospital has the best reputation for delivering babies?

My sisters and niece had their babies at St. Luke’s in Chesterfield. One sister in particular is very particular and she had her daughter there and her daughter had her baby there. These are rich people who could choose anyplace and they’re satisfied with St. Luke’s.
My kids were born in NYC in a dump of a hospital, but we didn’t have insurance and that’s what we could afford…30 years ago.

I know that Barnes used to be a very good hospital, but I do not feel like it is a good hospital anymore at all. I would suggest St Clare. It is a new hospital, the hospital is very pretty, the staff is wonderful. I would recommend looking into going there.
