We bought this kit for my eleven and half year old son. The kit is extremely fiddly. There are no where near enough connecting wires to do the experiments they describe. The base board is not well put together and bits on the bottom fall off as you try to insert components on the top. BUT MOST WORRYINGLY, I and my son BURNT our fingers on components that had overheated on the board. I dont know if this was because of elements falling out of the position on the base and causing a short, but BE VERY CAREFUL. This product is PROBABLY BEST AVOIDED. It is not easy to use and its not clear how and why stuff works. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
