Is it ok if I stack electronics components on top of each other if I’m not using them? I have limited space in my room so I stacked my ps2 on top of the Blu-Ray Player. I also stacked my DVD Player on top of my DVD Home Theater Receiver.

if you not using them (or if using them, the air vent aren’t blocked, fire isn’t fun)

It wont affect them, it wont hurt them as long as you always place the lighter one on top of the heavier one. I am sure you already knew that though =)

no it is not okay, the bottom one will start sparking, due to having weight put on it,and then will eventually burst into flames, engulfing the entire system and all other components with it.

The best way to store electronics is in the original boxes, its always a good idea to keep the boxes if you can they make good storage containers, they help keep the equipment safe and damage free if your moving or transporting them, or stacking them also if you ever decide to sell the equipment if you have the original boxes they are worth more money…
