Be My Friend – www.myspace.com Ex-Pharma Sales Reps Speaks Out – Pharma Not in Business of Health, Healing, Cures, Wellness. Gwen Olsen spent fifteen years as a pharmaceutical sales rep working for such healthcare giants as Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed a successful, fast-paced career until several conscious-altering experiences began awakening her to the dangers lurking in every American medicine cabinet. Her most poignant lessons, however, came as both victim and survivor of life-threatening adverse drug reactions. After leaving pharmaceutical sales in 2000, Gwen worked in the natural foods industry first as an Account Manager for Nature’s Way, and then as a Regional Sales Manager for Gaia Herbs. She is currently a writer, speaker, and natural health consultant. The United States health care system is killing Americans at an alarming rate, even though we spend over fifteen percent of the Gross National Product (GNP) on health care. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, our health care outcomes ranked only fifteenth among twenty-five industrialized nations worldwide. Adverse effects from prescription drugs have become the third-leading killer of Americans. Only heart disease and cancer claim more lives. We trust our doctors to inform us and our government to protect us from medical malfeasance that may put profits ahead of consumer health and safety. But the fine line walked by the FDA between the …

NOW, what she needs to do is put a gun to her head and pull the fucking trigger, she did “for 15 years” knowingly rape the public for her own gain. she didn’t even say “I am sorry” in her video, or seem the least bit remorseful –“I’ll write a book on the bad I did to other people for profit for “the last 15 years” and make more money telling them how I screwed them over” good one lady, after you give for free the information so others cant do it again, go kill yourself bitch!!

Your view of capitalism is distorted. I take it you like to regurgitate Moore’s movies as if you know history correctly. Any “ism” is bad, but capitalism is the closest to freedom we have ever had in history. Quit the socialism puns on capitalism. Priests have raped children, is all religion bad? No? right because its only a few and you can’t condemn the whole of the people or the system. What you have in capitalism right now is the beast running amuck; slay the beast not the concept.

in capitalism, there is no interest in curing. there is only interest in money. healthy people is the biggest enemy of the pharmaceutical industry. same applies to hospitals, the military, the food industry …. it applies to everything except to social activities wich aren’t paid. if you can’t get rid of capitalism – the system in which the highest value is profits – you will not be able to get rid of this dilemma.

@HomleandSecurity Typical commentary masturbation that contributes nothing to the discussion.
E.g. easy to do and it makes the writer feel good but the majority of people reading it think the person writing it is just a wanker.

95% of drugs are not required but most people would rather take a pill than live a healthy lifestyle.
Forget about drugs and start thinking about you.
When given the option to take a drug, do your research to make sure there is no other options and ensure the benefits outweigh the downsides.

I know someone who checked himself into a top UK clinic by falsely convincing his GP that they were depressed. And for 2 months, just to see if it was possible, they easily convinced all the experts there including the head psychiatrist that they were severely depressed. And that psychiatrist wrongly doubled their anti depressant drugs each month. Why was this possible? Because, there are no tests to prove you are sick. It is all subjective and open to self interested malicious abuse.

@techcafe pharm industry are real terrorist organizations. I don’t get why the american (and other publics) are so stupid as to fall for pharm poisons. If the pharm industry distributed guns for people with an illness to shoot themselves they would be conned. The ONLY pharm pills which are not poison are antibiotics since they target only bacteria reproduction, but even those will kill off the friendly bacteria in your stomach if you aren’t told to take probiotics with them.. which they don’t.

It is refreshing to hear someone “in the business” talk freely. Technically, drug companies exist to make money. Period. I’ve weaned and I’ve just stopped several meds without any problems. I have ups and downs like most people, so don’t label and drug me. The side effects are pretty bad for me, so no more. I think I’m perfect just the way God made me. (Except for the hernia repairs and infections. LOL)

we need MORE WHISTLEBLOWERS from the Pharmaceutical Industry to start coming forward with FACTS & TRUTH about the wholesale profiteering and greed of this ‘disease industry’. Big Pharma are in the business of ‘pathologizing for profit’, full stop.
where’s WikiLeaks when we need them? hopefully some brave whistleblowers will leak their industry’s secrets to WikiLeaks.

@AllStarBugler No retards like you are detrimental to legalization. You give a bad name and misinformation to something that should be common sense, but im guessing that at this point you seriously lack just that, fucking loser.

Yes, but the word ‘theory’ still applies to any facts applicable to any entity above mid level management, because we know that the ‘old gray-haired men at the top’ running the show are all benevolent and we know that all crime is committed at the street level, bog corporations with billions to lose wouldn’t lie to us, and that powerful people never conspire to do anything bad. Everything’s fine; everyone go back to sleep…

@slingshot2427 if you call happy, hungry and sleepy “side effects’, then yeah, I guess you are right, but beyond that, your snotnose reply is detrimental to the movement to get the truth about cannabis out there in the mainstream.
