It’s hard to believe these guys have been overlooked by the rock and roll hall of fame. The beastie boys were nominated this year. you mean to tell me they have influenced or contributed more to rock and roll then dire straits. BULLSHIT!

@pilvios People forget the Classic Rock era had it’s crap, manufactured plastic bands. The Top 40 radio charts have always been full of it. For every great song that stands the test of time, there are 20-30 dross and one hit wonders. Forget your rosy tinted specs and just enjoy whatever good stuff you can find today. In 10-20 years time people will look on today and complain “modern music has lost its edge”! PS Well said mate.

You know what a Bieber is? A Bieber swims and builds dams. Not Hoover dams, but dams. A Bieber is an animal. Very smart and very tricky. BUT WHO IS JUSTIN BIEBER????

John Lee Hooker,T-BoneWalker,Muddy Waters,Fats Domino. For example.
Knopfler and Clapton made this way going on.

How they play this guitar. It is GENIOUS!
But remember the late 40′s and early 50′s.The black people played such a guitar too.
The black musicians, remember them. They made that music earlier than Clapton and Knopfler. All kind of music was inspired by black musicians.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The utter order of the chord changes ( syncopated ) , and flat amplitude map puts “The is a fact, eat this true thing”; in your face. Like Mark K’s Florin dance … Complicated is easy, its perfect simplicity that takes the biggest cake in the bakery…
