I use to be a huge NTWICM fan. I have… 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, Now #1s, 21, 22, and 23. But this was before itunes really surpassed CD sales, and before I really got into ipods and MP3s. But now people can buy music online or illegally download music, they longer have to deal with album filler. The Series is no longer hot.

I wrote a review under NOW 33 but it was deleted. I guess I was too critical so Amazon deleted it. Anyway to summarize, I stated that it was a terrible idea to have the last 4 tracks as basic future hit predictions. In other words, songs that have not gotten any real airplay. I also stated that putting these 4 tracks on this cd instead of proven hits was a big mistake & if this practice continued on future NOW series, people would stop buying. I just read that NOW 34′s first week sales were the lowest since NOW 1 debuted in 1998 & also the first since then to open with less than 100,000 copies with 88,000 sold. I hope they learn their lesson with NOW 35 or they can expect even lower numbers.

I think that Now 34 got good hits on this CD and I really enjoyed it. The last 4 What’s Next bonus tracks are very good. But some songs aren’t appeared on Now 34 CD includes Lady GaGa & Beyonce “Telephone”, Taio Cruz “Break Your Heart”, Spose “I’m Awesome”, and etc. I hope one of each songs might appear on upcoming Now 35 CD soon. Anyways, if you love collecting Now series, get this volume. You won’t be disappointed.
My rating: 4/5.
