Hopefully, they’re not in an easy place to kick you out, but they do respect, and this is possibly the only thing they respect, leadership and power. They’ll envy you, but its ok – you get self-esteem, and they get knocked down a peg.

@quackajack13z I was just pretty ruined by my boyfriend planning to have me move in, saying the best things about me.. then completely rejecting me the next morning, doing subtle things to invite my despair, yet overtly behave like I was some obsessed stalker. It’s ridiculous. Narcissists (and he followed almost all of the points about them to a t) are at best a nuisance to put in their place (human with faults and strengths), and at worst they will literally kill you, or have you kill yourself.

This is a great tip that I use with my narcissistic mother. BUT, incredibly, she will readily dismiss my attempts at “I agree with you on that…have you thought about this.” In fact, it tends to enrage her. wow Well, at least it does afford me some ability to express my thoughts, albeit temporary.
